Fire and Security Engineer

£32,490.00 – £39,710.00 per year

We’re currently looking for an experienced and qualified Fire & Security Engineer to join our Property Compliance Team covering the Devon area. As you’ll spend a fair amount of time on the road we will provide you with a business-use van and fuel card so you will not be out of pocket. Training can be provided for the right candidate.

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with the opportunity to supplement your salary through participation in the out-of-hours rota, minimum 1 in 10 weeks.

• Test, service and install fire systems, emergency lighting, AOV and CCTV.
• Identify faults and carry out repair or installation work.
• Maintain door entry, door access and door operator systems.

• A minimum of 2 years industry experience.
• F.I.A. or equivalent certifications.
• Electrical qualification (preferred, not essential).
• Proven industry experience for fire and door entry & access desirable.

Experience working in occupied premises and the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

Can work independently or as part of a team and be confident using IT technology such as iPads.

Full and current driving licence with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience and the ability to drive a company van.

Preference for candidates living within a 20‑mile radius of Exeter.
