HGV Technician

Duties of the HGV Technician:

Conduct vehicle inspections, routine servicing, and fault diagnostics
Perform repairs across all aspects of commercial vehicles
Book vehicles into the workshop and ensure timely completion of work
Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and present them accordingly
Assist with roadside breakdowns and recovery operations
liaise with the workshop team to optimise workflow and customer satisfaction
Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and promptly
Test drive vehicles post-repair to verify standards are met Requirements of the HGV Technician:

Qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three or equivalent
Proven experience working with commercial vehicles
Full UK driving licence; HGV licence is advantageous but not essential
Previous experience in a similar role within the motor trade sector
Positive attitude, motivated, and dependable work ethic
Ability to multi-task and maintain high standards under pressure
