Electrician - Solar, Ventilation & Energy Efficiency

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join a leading property maintenance Contractor, supporting a wide range of projects across solar PV, mechanical ventilation, and energy‑efficiency technologies throughout South Devon.

About the Role

You will carry out installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair work across domestic and light‑commercial properties, helping deliver high‑quality, energy‑efficient solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who is passionate about renewable technologies and wants to develop within a growing, future‑focused sector.

Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, and maintain solar PV systems, battery storage, and associated controls.
Undertake installation and servicing of mechanical ventilation systems (including MVHR and MEV).
Support energy‑efficiency upgrades, including heating controls and electrical improvements.
Complete electrical testing, fault finding, and remedial work to current standards.
Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and safety requirements.
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high-quality workmanship.

What We're Looking For

Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
Level 2 qualification in Solar PV (preferred, but not essential).
Experience working on renewable technologies or a strong interest in developing these skills.
Knowledge of BS 7671 (current edition).
Full UK driving licence.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
