Car Mechanic​/Technician required in Exmouth

* Bentley's Garage in Exmouth is seeking a permanent Car Mechanic/Technician to join our team in Exmouth. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and good team working skills and is looking to become a essential componant to the buisness.

The role involves working a varity of cars 3- 5years old carrying out regular maintance and repairs. You will need to have your own hand tools and be dedicated to give the best customer experience.

* Responsibilities
* * Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections using a digital VHC system and technical manuals

* Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical components, Hybrid systems

* Utilise specialised equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts

* Interpret information from customers to identify faults accurately

* MOT licence would be advantageous

* Maintain digital records of work performed

* Assist with assembly and installation of vehicle components during repairs

* Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications

* Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures and addressing customer concerns effectively

* Qualifications
* * Proven experience as a Car Mechanic or Technician with a solid understanding of automotive systems

* Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by practical skills in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment

* Experience in vehicle assembly, disassembly, maintenance, and equipment repair

* Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics is desirable

* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

* Good communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence

* Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent are preferred but not essential
