Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support business unit accounting operations. This role is ideal for a collaborative accounting professional who enjoys analyzing financial data, supporting audits, and contributing to process improvements.

• Support month-end and year-end accounting processes in line with company policies
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and financial reports
• Analyze business unit performance, budgets, forecasts, and variances
• Assist with income statements, cash flow reporting, and capital analysis
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Work closely with Corporate Accounting and senior leadership
• Conduct IFRS research as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making

• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• CPA designation completed or in progress preferred
• Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge (Navision, SAP, or similar)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
