firstPRO is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a well-established organization in the Exton, PA area. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with a strong background in construction, project/cost accounting, and WIP reporting who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment. Looking to hire ASAP!

Key Responsibilities:

Support month‑end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Perform project and cost accounting
, including WIP reporting and analysis
Analyze financial performance and investigate actual results against budgets and forecasts
Prepare and review financial and operational reports for accuracy
Assist with income statement, cash flow, and capital forecasting
Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting activities
Partner with accounting leadership and operational teams on financial matters
Assist with audit requests, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
Identify opportunities to improve and standardize accounting processes
Work within a recently implemented ERP environment and assist with ongoing process optimization

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
4+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of month‑end close, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting
Strong ERP/system aptitude; experience with system implementations or ERP transitions is highly desirable
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Schedule & Compensation:

This position offers a hybrid schedule with four days onsite and one remote day per week
. The remote day may be Monday through Thursday.

Permanent compensation up to $94,750
, based on experience.
