Assistant Superintendent

Key Responsibilities Assist the Superintendent with daily onsite construction operations. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel. Help maintain project schedules and monitor progress against key milestones. Conduct daily site walks to ensure quality standards are met. Support the implementation and enforcement of safety programs and OSHA requirements. Track material deliveries and coordinate site logistics. Maintain jobsite documentation, reports, and progress updates.

Participate in subcontractor meetings and project coordination discussions. Assist with punch list completion and project closeout activities. Identify potential issues and collaborate with project teams to develop solutions. Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and building codes. Profile A successful Building and Construction Assistant Superintendent should have: 2+ years of experience in construction, field engineering, or construction management.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and jobsite operations. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction technology is a plus. Strong knowledge of jobsite safety practices and OSHA regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
