Summary
CCST/CCST Jr. Choreographer provides administrative, creative, and instructional support to the CCST/CCST Jr.
Director throughout the production of the CCST/CCST Jr. Spring Musical. The successful candidate will
participate in creating and maintaining a professional climate that promotes student growth. The
Choreographer will assist with all rehearsals as needed but will primarily be involved in dance
rehearsals and coordinating staging with the Director/Assistant Director and their vision for the
show.

? Enforces the CCS Student Code of Conduct, the CCS Uniform Code, and the CCS
Computer Usage Code
? Promotes good citizenship through actions as a role model
? Conducts himself or herself according to professional, ethical principles that reflect
favorably upon the individual and the school
? Maintains highest level of confidentiality pertaining to school and students' information,
progress, and records
? Assumes other responsibilities assigned by supervisor and/or school administrator
? Abides by the CCS Employee Manual, CCS policies and procedures, and all current PA
Public School expectations
? Assists CCST/CCST Jr. Director with production of annual spring musical.
? Tracks all choreography with provided rehearsal tracks and makes sure to communicate
any necessary cuts to the pit orchestra director.
? Attends and assists with all scheduled rehearsals.
? Responsible for making sure all choreographed moments in the production are
accounted for and composed in a timely manner and in a fashion that is becoming of our
students while showcasing their skill sets at appropriate levels.

? Coordinate with the Production Manager to ensure all costuming works with
choreography in a way that students will be comfortable on stage while performing.
? When necessary, assist in procuring appropriate dance footwear for students.

Qualifications
?

Experience with theatrical productions (plays and musicals) as both a performer and a
production team member preferred but not required.
?

Experience with choreographing students of varying ability levels.
? Ability to analyze and choreograph scenes from a theatrical work as needed.
? Ability to work as part of a production team and maintain a professional working
environment.
? Ability to adequately and effectively communicate and collaborate with other production
team members, students, parents, and all other stakeholders to ensure student safety
and success.
? Required Clearances include Criminal Background Clearance (Act 34), Child Abuse
Clearance (Act 151), and FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114), all dated within one year
of receipt
? Meets criteria for employment in a PA Public School
