SummaryCCST Assistant Director provides administrative, creative, and instructional support to the CCST Director throughout the production of the CCST Fall Play and/or Spring Musical. The successful candidate will participate in creating and maintaining a professional climate that promotes student growth. The Assistant Director will assist with all rehearsals as needed but will primarily be involved in staging rehearsals and coordinating staging with the choreographer and their choreography.
Job Responsibilities- Enforces the CCS Student Code of Conduct, the CCS Uniform Code, and the CCS Computer Usage Code.
- Promotes good citizenship through actions as a role model.
- Conducts self in accordance with professional, ethical principles that reflect favorably upon the individual and the school.
- Maintains highest level of confidentiality regarding school and students’ information, progress, and records.
- Assumes other responsibilities assigned by supervisor and/or school administrator.
- Abides by the CCS Employee Manual, CCS policies and procedures, and all current PA Public School expectations.
- Assists CCST Director with production of annual fall play and/or spring musical.
- Manufactures, tracks, and organizes all audition materials.
- Works with Production Manager to ensure all cast meals, costumes, props, headshots, and production programs are planned and available at appropriate times as indicated by the PAC Coordinator.
- Attends and assists with all scheduled rehearsals.
- Staging of players in preparation for performance.

- Ability to read, analyze, and stage scenes from a theatrical work as needed.
- Ability to work as part of a production team and maintain a professional working environment.
- Ability to adequately and effectively communicate and collaborate with other production team members, students, parents, and all other stakeholders to ensure student safety and success.
- Required Clearances include Criminal Background Clearance (Act 34), Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151), and FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114), all dated within one year of receipt.
- Meets criteria for employment in a PA Public School.
