West Chester Area School District has the following Extended School Year (ESY) Program, District Level, Paraprofessional/Instructional Assistant positions available. Paraprofessionals applying for any summer position must be very comfortable working with students, parents and teachers.

Responsibilities include:

• Toileting and activities of daily living
• Behavior management, redirection, and skill reinforcement
• Playground/lunch duty and general classroom management

Technology requirements include:

• Google Docs, Word, Email, Schoology, and See Saw

• Special Ed ESY – Elementary (Greystone Elementary, 5 week program, 6/22/2026‑7/23/2026, 8:30‑12:30 Mon‑Thurs; closed 7/2 & 7/3)
• Special Ed ESY – Elementary (Greystone Elementary, 6 week program, 6/22/2026‑7/30/2026, 8:30‑2:30 Mon‑Thurs; closed 7/2 & 7/3)
• Jump Start (Glen Acres Elementary, 6/22/2026‑7/23/2026, 8:30‑12:30 Mon‑Thurs; closed 7/2 & 7/3)
• Special Ed ESY – Secondary (Henderson High School, 5 week program, 6/22/2026‑7/23/2026, 7:30‑11:30 Mon‑Thurs; closed 7/2 & 7/3)
• Special Ed ESY – Secondary (Henderson High School, 6 week program, 6/22/2026‑7/30/2026, 7:30‑1:30 Mon‑Thurs; closed 7/2 & 7/3)
