Music Teacher

Music & Arts seeks a passionate Music Teacher to provide private and group lessons in our retail store. In this role, you'll teach students of varying ages and skill levels, create engaging lesson plans, prepare students for performances and auditions, and communicate regularly with parents and school partners. You'll also support our mission-driven retail environment by encouraging rentals, purchases, and repairs that fit each student's needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group music lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Develop individualized lesson plans aligned with student goals and school curricula
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction and materials as needed
• Maintain clear communication with parents, guardians, and school partners
• Support instrument rentals, purchases, and repairs aligned with student needs
• Maintain accurate lesson schedules, attendance, and basic student records
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, student-focused store environment
