Inside Sales Application Engineer – Exton, PA (NETZSCH Pumps USA)

Exton, PA – Salary range: $70,000.00 to $, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

• Prepare detailed quotations for pumps, parts, and systems based on technical and commercial specifications.
• Communicate via phone and email with customers, representatives and direct accounts such as OEMs.
• Process orders into the system accurately and support the engineering and operations teams throughout the order entry and manufacturing processes.
• Support manufacturing, engineering and quality control teams on laboratory testing activities and when pumps are returned to the factory for repairs.
• Travel periodically with the Regional Sales Manager to engage with customers and applications in various regions.

• Minimum 2‑year technical degree with 2 years prior experience as an application engineer in a similar mechanical field, or a 4‑year or higher technical degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong aptitude and/or previous experience in hydraulic engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, commercial terms, P&, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to apply common sense and to solve problems.
• Valid driver’s license and a current passport or the ability to obtain one upon hire.
