Applications Engineering, Sr Engineer

At Synopsys, we drive the innovations that shape the way we live and connect. Our technology is central to the Era of Pervasive Intelligence, from self-driving cars to learning machines. We lead in chip design, verification, and IP integration, empowering the creation of high-performance silicon chips and software content. Join us to transform the future through continuous technological innovation.

You're an aerospace systems engineer who's energized by solving complex, mission-critical challenges—and you want your work to make an impact where it truly matters. You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and enjoy working alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions for Aerospace & Defense and Intelligence customers. Whether translating technical requirements into actionable strategies or guiding customers through advanced tools and workflows, you bring both technical depth and real-world problem-solving ability.

You have a strong foundation in engineering, physics, or computer science, and you're excited by cutting-edge capabilities such as Digital Mission Engineering (DME), simulation, and model-based systems engineering. Just as importantly, you understand how to apply these tools to real customer challenges.

Beyond your technical expertise, you're a strong communicator who can build trust with a wide range of stakeholders—from engineers to executive leadership. You're comfortable taking the lead in technical discussions, advising customers, and helping teams modernize and optimize their engineering approaches.

You're self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities without losing focus. You approach problems analytically, adapt quickly to new technologies, and continuously look for ways to improve outcomes—for your team and your customers.

Most importantly, you're motivated by the opportunity to contribute to high-impact, mission-driven work and to help shape the future of aerospace systems and defense technology.
