Bender Inc., a leader in electrical safety monitoring, is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Designer to support the design of advanced monitoring and insulation devices for industrial, healthcare, and commercial applications. In this role, you will create and refine 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings, ensuring designs meet safety, reliability, and manufacturability requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, support prototyping and testing, and help maintain product documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electro-mechanical components and assemblies for electrical safety and monitoring devices
  • Create detailed 3
  • D models, drawings, and documentation to support manufacturing
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to optimize designs for reliability and safety
  • Perform tolerance analysis, basic structural evaluations, and design-for-manufacturability reviews
  • Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of new and existing products
  • Maintain design standards, BOMs, and engineering change documentation
  • Work closely with suppliers to refine component specifications and resolve design issues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives in product design
