Account Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Account Specialist to support account onboarding, maintenance, and operational processes within a financial services environment. This role is responsible for coordinating account set up, managing documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience.

• Coordinate account openings, transfers, and account maintenance activities.
• Prepare and review account documentation while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collect and verify client onboarding information, including KYC documentation.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve account issues and support operational workflows.
• Maintain organized records and assist with account servicing and special projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in investment operations, account administration, or financial services.
• Experience with account onboarding, transfers, and regulatory documentation (KYC/AML/CIP).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• 1.5 to 2 years of experience at a custodian or investment advisor.
• Experience with paperwork and processing for various account types (individual, revocable trust, irrevocable trust, entity, partnership accounts)
