Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Exton, PA

A fantastic opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to fill a maternity leave position serving 5th through 12th-grade students across three buildings. This contract role is perfect for skilled professionals eager to provide essential support within a vibrant school environment and make a difference for students.

Anticipated to begin as soon as possible and continue through November 13th, 2026, this assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule, with work hours from 7:00am to 3:15pm, Monday through Friday, for a total of 38.75 hours each week.

• Current COTA certification and licensure in Pennsylvania
• Experience working with students in school-based settings preferred
• Ability to effectively collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and school staff
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Flexibility to travel between three school buildings as part of your regular caseload

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students from 5th to 12th grade as per their IEPs
• Support students in developing essential life and academic skills that foster classroom participation
• Implement therapeutic activities under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Collect progress data and document student performance in accordance with district protocols
• Communicate regularly with school staff and families regarding student progress
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district regulations
