Umbrella Functional Consulting & Support Team is looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our leadership team. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalized care and support. • Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD)
• Assist clients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, and daily routines
• Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
• Transport and accompany clients to community activities, appointments, and social events
• Foster independence and skill-building through positive reinforcement and person-centered approaches
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members regarding client needs and progress
• Respond appropriately to behavioral challenges and crisis situations following established protocols

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in human services, caregiving, or IDD support preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• ODP Direct Support Professional Certification
• Ability to pass background checks, including PA State Police and FBI clearances
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to lift, assist, and support clients with mobility needs as required
