Senior Director, Head of Digital

Bentley Systems seeks a visionary and technical hands‑on leader to drive and architect the digital transformation and business value that will guide our digital application strategy across our portfolio of enterprise platforms. You will steer the evolution of our application landscape, transitioning our teams to a product‑led operating model that fosters innovation and partnership.

This role is central to our enterprise transformation, integrating Salesforce, Workday, and legacy systems into one cohesive, high‑performing environment. You will set the strategic direction for platform interoperability that supports global Sales, Marketing, Quote‑to‑Cash, Revenue Operations, and Finance and Accounting.

• Set the technical and architectural direction for our core enterprise platforms, including Salesforce and Workday, providing hands‑on leadership and communicating a long‑term vision for digital applications from inception through to execution.
• Oversee all financial business processes from Lead to Cash within the platform.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our application ecosystem.
• Lead the transition to a modern, agile, product‑led organization by championing an iterative delivery mindset focused on continuous improvement and delivering business value.
• Lead and mentor a global team of engineers, product managers, and analysts, fostering a culture of high‑performance, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Partner with C‑suite leaders and business stakeholders to translate strategy into measurable business outcomes, technology leverage, and enterprise adoption.
• 25% travel, domestic and international.
• Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer.

• 15+ years of experience leading enterprise applications teams, cloud modernization initiatives with a proven track record of driving large‑scale digital transformations in B2B SaaS business subscription and consumption models.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with Salesforce, Workday and custom enterprise systems is essential, leading multi‑platform environments that focus on interoperability, governance, and operational excellence.
• Strong expertise in platform integration, API strategy, event‑driven architectures, and scalable enterprise workflows supporting Quote‑to‑Cash and financial operations.
• Proven experience in system performance engineering, including reliability engineering, observability tooling, telemetry‑driven monitoring, and optimization of API throughput and transaction latency.
