Position Details:

We are actively seeking an experienced RPG Developer with strong Embedded SQL skills and hands-on experience in BPCS (Business Planning and Control System) for a long-term contract opportunity. This is an excellent chance to join a collaborative IT team, support and enhance ERP systems, and make a meaningful impact in a stable environment.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in RPG (RPG III, IV, Free Format) development on IBM iSeries (AS/400)
- Strong proficiency in Embedded SQL
- MUST HAVE hands-on experience with BPCS ERP system (v6.1 or above preferred)
- Solid understanding of ERP processes including manufacturing, inventory, and distribution
- Ability to troubleshoot and enhance existing BPCS programs
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Enhance and support custom BPCS applications using RPG and SQL
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate into technical solutions
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization of BPCS-related programs
- Document code changes and ensure best practices are followed
