The role of the Technology Support Specialist is to ensure proper computer operations to guarantee that users are able to accomplish organizational tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostics and help request tracking tools, as well as hands-on help with staff and students as needed.

- Provide technical support, advice, and assistance with hardware and software system problems
- Collaborate with team members to successfully complete projects
- Fix, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain all classroom desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, printers, and projectors
- Utilize a service desk ticketing system to create, assign, triage and determine escalation path and provide thorough documentation on ticket resolutions
- Assist with setup of audio/visual equipment for school events
- Provide basic LAN/WAN troubleshooting
- Follow proper inventory management procedures
- Perform active directory password resets
- Enforces the CCS Student Code of Conduct, the CCS Uniform Code, and the CCS Computer Usage Code
- Conducts himself or herself according to professional, ethical principles that reflect favorably upon the individual and the school
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality pertaining to school and students’ information, progress, and records
- Assumes other responsibilities assigned by supervisor and/or school administrator
- Abides by the CCS Employee Manual, CCS policies and procedures, and all current PA Public School expectations
- Associate’s degree in technology or equivalent experience
- Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and Chrome OS required
- Experience with OSX, IOS preferred
- Familiarity with Windows Server OS
- Excellent understanding of different operating systems and programming languages, as well as extensive experience working with databases and network tools
- Ability to collect and analyze data, problem-solve, and make decisions
- Demonstrate service oriented behavior. Flexible and adaptable personality
- Attention to detail when accomplishing all tasks
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
