This is a contract position for a Solution Architect based in Exton, Pennsylvania. The role is for a 6+ month engagement and seeks a techno-functional professional with deep expertise in data analytics platforms and retail or financial domain knowledge.
Responsibilities- Architect end-to-end solutions for data integration, transformation, and visualization across multiple platforms.
- Define and implement best practices for data ingestion, modeling, and reporting.
- Design efficient data pipelines using Snowflake and other data platforms.
- Apply data governance principles including data catalog, data quality, and related practices.
- Design data products, data exchanges, and data sharing solutions.
- Integrate data from diverse sources including ERP systems, multiple SaaS platforms, and APIs into a unified analytics environment.
- Collaborate with business teams—primarily finance, accounting, field service, and sales/marketing—to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct requirement walkthroughs and articulate solution designs to stakeholders.
- Review and guide code development, ensuring adherence to standards and optimal performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor teams on best practices.
- Implement reporting solutions using Oracle Analytics, Qlik, or similar visualization tools.
- Deliver dashboards and reports for financial planning and analysis.
- Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- 12+ years of experience in data analytics, solution architecture, and financial domain (retail or financial industry).
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Oracle Analytics, Qlik, and data integration tools.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and API-based integrations.
- Solid knowledge of finance, accounting, and financial planning processes.
- Ability to engage in business conversations and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
