Operations Manager, Client Relationship Manager
About the Role
The US Co‑Lead (Philadelphia) is a key member of Metergy’s Executive Leadership Team, reporting to the President & CEO and partnering closely with the US Co‑Lead (New York). Based in King of Prussia, PA, the leader shares P&L accountability for U.S. operations and leads a team of approximately 75. The role requires a collaborative, matrix‑style approach to steering company growth, technology revitalization, and integration.
KeyPriorities and Responsibilities
- Execute business strategy, growth opportunities, and integration – build on a stable, recurring‑revenue business; leverage technology transformation (Palantir Foundry platform); deepen business integration across the organization.
- Deliver results through a high‑performing team – mentor and develop staff; act as cultural anchor for the Philadelphia office; provide calm leadership during complexity and change; proactively build bench strength.
- Strengthen and expand client relationships – own client relationships managed from Philadelphia (including U.S.
-wide clients); elevate client service and experience; support sales and close new and existing business; serve as Metergy ambassador. - Culture, technology, and service/operations leadership – align across the Executive Leadership Team and broader organization; partner with the COO for accurate, on‑time submetering data, billing, and collections; partner with the SVP Field Operations for efficient field service; drive strong client onboarding and rapid escalation resolution; foster a high‑performance, client‑first environment; inspire and develop leaders organization‑wide.
- Executive leader with entrepreneurial mindset and strong problem‑solving skills.
- Experience in utility and/or commercial real‑estate sectors; preference for service‑business background.
- Technical aptitude – understanding of internal systems, software tools, and client building operations.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust, manage durable relationships, and lead culturally across teams.
- Strong track record in client service, operational improvement, and integration.
- Proven growth, results, and client‑experience leadership at a strategic level with operational detail.
- Experience in business development, client negotiations, and securing new opportunities, especially within commercial real estate.
- University degree in business, engineering, or related field.
