Mechanical Technician
Location: Exton, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday (8-hour shifts) or Monday–Thursday (10-hour shifts)
Travel: 5–10% (occasional customer sites)
Pay Range: $60,000–$75,000

The OpportunityThis is a hands‑on role working in a clean, climate‑controlled custom production shop
, assembling high‑tech automation equipment that integrates robots, sensors, vision systems, motor‑driven and pneumatic actuation, and modern control technology.
You’ll work closely with a collaborative team of technicians and engineers, contributing directly to machine build, alignment, startup, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. This is an environment where your input is valued and your craftsmanship makes a real impact.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble industrial automation equipment and machine components in a production shop environment
- Fabricate and assemble extruded aluminum frames and mechanical subassemblies
- Perform mechanical tasks including cutting, drilling, tapping, fastening, shimming, tensioning, and torquing
- Assist with machine alignment, startup, troubleshooting, modification, and refinement
- Interpret and work from mechanical assembly drawings and 3D CAD assembly models
- Use precision measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, scales) to ensure accuracy and quality
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively, including drills, taps, saws, wrenches, punches, and press tools
- Support occasional on‑site customer work during installation or startup phases (5–10% travel)
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship, safety, and attention to detail
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with mechanical automation assembly, industrial machine assembly, or mechanical machine maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on experience using a wide range of hand and power tools
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and navigate 3D CAD models
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or on the floor as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience with pneumatic systems
- Background in robotics, packaging equipment, conveyor systems, or automated machinery
- Experience supporting machine startup or troubleshooting
