Powder Coater

Description

• Prep parts for coating (cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting surfaces)
• Apply powder coating using spray equipment similar to automotive paint guns
• Ensure smooth, even coverage and high-quality finish standards
• Operate curing ovens to properly set coatings
• Inspect finished parts for quality, consistency, and appearance
• Maintain equipment, spray booths, and a clean work area
• Follow all safety and PPE guidelines

• Experience in automotive painting, body shop work, or industrial coating preferred
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes
• Familiarity with spray equipment and surface prep techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as part of regular job duties
• Ability to read small print and visually inspect detailed components
• Must be able to perform essential job functions that require visual acuity, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to safely use manual and powered hand tools
