Assembly Technician – Teledyne Qioptiq

We’re seeking an Assembly Technician to support precision assembly operations in a dynamic environment. If you have strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude, this role is for you.

• Assemble discrete and multi‑chip semiconductor packages.
• Dispense encapsulant and cure products.
• Load and unload assembly fixtures and operate complex manufacturing equipment such as vacuum reflow furnaces, laser marking systems, dicing saws, and pick‑and‑place machines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions for assembly processes.

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail (required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear PPE including respirators (required).
• Steady hands for manual placement of small components (.030") and experience using microscopes and tweezers (required).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen (required).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and computer proficiency (advantage).
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic components and terminology (advantage).
• Experience in semiconductor packaging or soldering (advantage).
