Kelly Science is seeking a 2nd Shift Environmental Monitoring Specialist for a growing company located in Exton, PA.
Job Details:Pay: $27.82/hour (includes shift differential)
Shift: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-11:30pm
Employment Type:
Contract to Hire
Duties include:
- Performs environmental monitoring of plant utilities and production clean zones using particle counters, contact plates and microbial air samplers.
- Prepares and sends microbial isolates for identification.
- Performs routine media growth promotion and Gram staining.
- Performs enumeration and characterization of microorganisms recovered from samples.
- Performs data entry for collected data.
- Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor.
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, biology or a related scientific field
- Previous experience utilizing aseptic technique required and hands‑on microbiology experience strongly preferred.
