Position OverviewThis internship is focused on teaching the student about the property restoration industry and introducing them to the different positions available. The student will then be transitioned into learning about sales and account management.
Essential Functions- Job shadow various employees on the job site to learn the responsibilities of each position.
- Attend BELFOR sponsored operations and safety training courses as required
- Work with BELFOR employees to present and sell BELFOR services to current and potential clients
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Identify and network with new sales prospects.
- Work as a team with local and national operations to promote customer satisfaction, sales growth, and the success of the entire BELFOR organization.
- Develop and maintain current knowledge of BELFOR services, industry trends, and competitive information.
- Actively participate in key local industry groups and associations.
- Other projects and duties as assigned
- Must be a student currently enrolled at a college or university
- Able to follow instruction and work well under supervision
- A comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices
- Be able to work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
- Must maintain attention to detail
- Possess sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs
- Occasional lifting from 41 lbs +, assisted (up to 50% of the time)
- Access and mobility in tight spaces
- Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling
- Ability to use mobile devices for collection of data and time.
