Cardinal Point Security Group is hiring Armed School Security Officers to help protect students, staff, and school communities through professional presence, calm judgment, and decisive action when it matters most.

This is not a generic armed guard post. This is a high‑trust, school‑based safety role for professionals who can combine readiness, restraint, mentorship, and de‑escalation inside a K‑12 environment.

You will be more than a visible deterrent. You will be a trusted adult, a first responder, a steady presence in moments of tension, and a critical part of the school’s overall safety posture.

This is a school‑year armed school safety role with a structured afternoon/evening schedule:

Saturdays 3:00 PMto 11:00 PM
Sundays 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM

The role follows the regular school calendar and includes occasional after‑school and weekend events.

Compensation: $30.00 per hour

This position follows the 10‑month school calendar. To help support more stable annual income, Cardinal Point gives armed officers priority consideration for crossover hours in our commercial, executive protection, and event divisions during the summer break and other school downtime.

This is a Professional Guardian role inside a school environment.

You are being hired to help maintain a safe, stable, and violence‑free learning environment while serving as a trusted safety partner to students, staff, and school leadership.

• Maintain a visible, professional armed presence on campus
• Conduct proactive patrols of school buildings and grounds
• Monitor hallways, entrances, common areas, and student safety hot spots
• Support access control and visitor management procedures
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety vulnerabilities, and security concerns in real time

• Use calm verbal de‑escalation and sound judgment during conflicts, disruptions, and student/parent incidents
• Help stabilize situations without unnecessarily escalating them
• Build positive, professional relationships with students, staff, and administrators
• Act as a trusted adult presence while maintaining clear professional boundaries

• Act as a capable first responder during emergencies, access control breaches, and critical incidents
• Support school leadership and law enforcement coordination when needed
• Maintain composure, awareness, and communication discipline under pressure

• Monitor CCTV and support campus awareness
• Write clear, factual, professional incident reports
• Report on safety and facility concerns promptly
• Execute the Cardinal Point basics every day:

• Support secondary posts or special assignments when operationally required
