Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Service Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responds to and services Burg /CCTV and small access service calls, as requested by the Service Manager or his/her designate
• Apply solutions to system problems by either troubleshooting the system or advising the customer how to resolve the problem
• Solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision
• Provides status on service calls to management and recommends actions
• Communicates with the customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Continuous proactive customer interactions including an in-depth understanding of customer (s) needs, wants and systems currently in place
• Perform self-study (reading, research, and practice) to obtain technical proficiency on required products and applications
• Reports complete and accurate information on the service tickets
• Work independently and seek guidance when necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent, plus two (2) years of technical school, electronics training or equivalent military training
• Security clearance
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in specific panel types for Burg and CCTV and Access
