Security Service Technician

• Install, service, and test a variety of access control and IP camera products and systems.
• Interpret and understand engineered drawings related to security installations.
• Apply basic door hardware installation techniques.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to job tickets and installations.
• Maintain a safe working environment during all installations and service visits.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and stakeholders to provide project updates.
• Adhere to company protocols and procedures regarding safety and security standards.
• Maintain a clean driving record and promptly report incidents or near misses to management.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure successful project completion.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge related to security installation techniques, equipment, and technologies.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during installations and service visits.
• Follow company guidelines and industry best practices to ensure quality and reliability of installations.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and questions.
• Represent the company professionally at all times, fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of field installation experience in a security environment.
• Certifications in Software House, Lenel, and Genetec strongly desired.
• Certifications in American Dynamics, Bosch, or other IP Video products a plus.
• Experienced installing door hardware such as strikes and magnetic locks.
• Experience in audio‑visual technology.
• Experience troubleshooting network switches. Benefits
