Logistics Engineer II Procurement & Supply Chain Analytics

In addition, the group provides tactical decision-making services that bridge the gap between strategic planning and operational execution. • Analyze consolidation savings for internal customers
• Ad-Hoc Reporting
• Statistical Analysis

• Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis of customers supply chain opportunities and challenges
• Use advanced modeling to evaluate and optimize the customer's transportation and distribution network
• Lane Benchmarking (Utilize Uber Freight market knowledge and leverage existing Uber Freight data, including procurement and that of external data sources.)
• Help design an optimized Transportation Strategy for our customers to support their goals

• Serve as engineering lead on consulting and strategic projects
• Interact with customers, gather requirements, prepare and present outcomes of the analysis
• Work with a broad team and coordinate various engineering tasks required for project completion

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Transportation/Logistics or a related field
• At least 1 year of logistics engineering/transportation procurement (RFP) experience

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
• Basic Understanding of Supply Chain Management Principles & Strategies
• Chemical Transportation knowledge
• Ability to model real world distribution networks and analyze them
• Ability to lead projects and work in a customer facing role
