Senior Accountant @ Consumer Products Firm

Our client is a Global Consumer Products that has opened a new role in their Finance team. This role reports to the Controller. Role works directly with Dept heads, Plant operations, Marketing, Operators, and Head of the Business.

This individual will oversee Month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role works closely with Finance, operations, supply chain, and procurement leadership to support accurate cost tracking and inventory valuation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze accounting during monthly/quarterly/annual close
• Analyze and reconcile inventory, COGS, and standard costs
• Model Review financial variances and partner with operations to improve efficiency
• Support internal/external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Oversee budgeting and provide financial guidance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting a plus
• 6+ years in accounting, ideally in manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Axis preferred) and Excel
• Expertise in financial month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, modeling
