Our client in the B2B technology services industry is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Montvale, NJ (25 employees’ company-wide). Their current Senior Accountant will be retiring later this year, creating an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a long‑term impact. In this role, you will serve as the company's lead accounting professional, partnering closely with the CEO to ensure overall financial accuracy while overseeing the day‑to‑day accounting function.
Although this is an individual contributor role, you will provide guidance and support to two team members responsible for the day‑to‑day A/P and A/R functions, allowing you to spend the majority of your time on higher‑level accounting responsibilities including general ledger activities, reconciliations, month‑end close, and financial reporting. Success in this role requires a strong accounting foundation, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work within sophisticated accounting systems.
Because they're a smaller organization, they're looking for someone who enjoys working closely with their team, building strong relationships, and stepping in wherever they can add value. To our client, culture is everything. Their CEO invests heavily in her team, values work/life balance, and consistently recognizes employee contributions.
