Job Description
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non‑profit healthcare networks, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Head and Neck surgery team at the Leonard
B. Kahn Institute for Head & Neck Cancer, located at the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center at Morristown Medical Center. This position requires the PA to work two days per week, with more shifts possible depending on department needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a renowned medical center and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care. Training or experience in head and neck surgery is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
Preferably, the candidate should have experience as an OR First Assist and be familiar with surgical inpatient care. In addition to clinical and technical proficiency, strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities are essential. Your ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues will contribute to the provision of comprehensive and compassionate care. - Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Minimum 1-2 years of surgery experience preferred
- Preferred experience as an OR First Assist
- Experience in surgical inpatient and outpatient care
- Must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
