Saturday School Grades 3-8 Instructional Teacher (Part-Time)

Hourly Rate Certified/Uncertified $45/$35

The Saturday School Instructional Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality academic instruction and support to students during Saturday School sessions. The teacher will work closely with the Saturday School Coordinator and other instructional staff to plan and implement lessons that align with state and school district standards.

• Provide academic instruction and support to students on Saturdays
• Collaborate with the Saturday School Coordinator and other instructional staff to plan and implement lessons that align with state and school district standards
• Use a variety of teaching methods, including direct instruction, small group work, and hands‑on activities, to engage and support student learning
• Differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all students
• Provide supervision during student meal times (breakfast and/or lunch)
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Site Coordinator, School Director, Assistant Director of Academics, Assistant Director of Operations, and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

• Uses standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copy and fax machines, Smart board and accessories, iPads, and telephone.

• Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.

• Works in standard office and school building environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred; 60 credits or more from an accredited college/university
• Valid teaching certification in ELA or Math is preferred; substitute teaching certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with iRise Saturday teaching community
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Approved Criminal History and Background Check

• Bachelors from an accredited college or university preferred
• 60 credits or more from an accredited college/university

• Successful prior teaching experience in the content area at the appropriate grade levels preferred
