Teacher Of Students With Disabilities (Middle School)

We are presently accepting applications for the Teacher Of Students With Disabilities (Middle School) position at Memorial Middle School. This position requires proper NJ certification.

Qualifications:

• NJ Certificate:
  Instructional (K-12) (Mathematics or English, preferred) OR Teacher of Elementary Schools (K-6) w/ Middle School Subject Specialization in Mathematics or English
• Teacher Of Students With Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement, required
• Familiar with NJ Student Learning Standards
• Strong instructional background
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working with at-risk students
• Experience working with developmentally disabled students
• Experience working with data collection systems
• Knowledge of curriculum modifications
• Experience working with middle school students, preferred
• Ability to differentiate instruction and implement evidence-based interventions to meet diverse student needs
• Experience collaborating with general education teachers, related services providers, and administrators

Salary range: $64,000 - $117,380 (click on the following link for the full salary schedule: Fair Lawn Education Association)
