Teacher Of Students With Disabilities (middle School) SCHOOL YEAR MEMORIAL MIDDLE SCHOOL
We are presently accepting applications for the following position. This position requires proper NJ certification.
Qualifications TEACHER OF STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES (MIDDLE SCHOOL)NJ Certificate: Instructional (K-12) (Mathematics or English, preferred) and Teacher of Students with Disabilities
OR Teacher of Elementary Schools (K-6) w/ Middle School Subject Specialization in Mathematics or English and Teacher of Students with Disabilities
OR Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH)
- Familiar with NJ Student Learning Standards
- Strong instructional background
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with at-risk students
- Experience working with developmentally disabled students
- Experience working with data collection systems
- Knowledge of curriculum modifications
- Experience working with middle school students, preferred
- Ability to differentiate instruction and implement evidence-based interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Experience collaborating with general education teachers, related services providers, and administrators
Salary range: $64,000 - $117,380 (
Fair Lawn Education Association
)
