Securitas Technology is seeking an Engineering Intern to support the design, testing, and implementation of integrated electronic security and life safety solutions. You'll assist engineers with system layout, device selection, and documentation for video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and monitoring projects. Responsibilities include basic CAD updates, lab testing, troubleshooting, and data analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, learn industry standards, and contribute to continuous improvement while gaining hands-on experience in a safety- and innovation-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in design and documentation of electronic security and life safety systems
- Support system layout, device selection, and basic CAD updates
- Perform lab testing, system checks, and basic troubleshooting
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and reports
- Analyze test data and summarize findings for engineering reviews
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and operations teams
- Learn and apply relevant industry standards and best practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes
