HVAC Installer

We are seeking a motivated HVAC Installer to focus on residential and commercial unit installations. This role includes removal and installation of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, as well as start‑up and charging of systems. 1-800-Plumber +Air is dedicated to providing a high‑quality customer experience.

• Must have a current driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass pre and post employment drug screenings.
• Must have experience with light commercial and restaurant freezer/refrigeration equipment, ice makers, refrigerant operations and processes.
• 2‑3 years minimum experience as an HVAC installer.

• Diagnose HVAC, refrigeration and/or electrical systems through observation, testing and setup.
• Disassemble and reassemble commercial or residential equipment to perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment to service the equipment and/or mechanical system.
• Explain the issue and work to be performed, and provide a timeline and wait‑time explanations to the customer.
• Perform routine maintenance and filter changes on equipment in accordance with the customer agreement.
• Maintain inventory and keep the service vehicle supplied with the appropriate stock required.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
