ARC Group is recruiting for a Fortune 500 client seeking an on-site Receptionist / Administrative Clerk in Fairbanks, Alaska
. This role provides front‑desk reception and administrative support to ensure efficient daily office operations. The ideal candidate is professional, detail‑oriented, and comfortable handling multiple administrative and customer service tasks in a fast‑paced office environment.

Job Description
  • Serve as the primary front‑desk receptionist, greeting visitors and directing them appropriately
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls using a multi‑line phone system
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties including data entry, filing, record maintenance, and document preparation
  • Assist management with typing correspondence, reports, and internal communications
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and calendars for staff and management
  • Respond to routine inquiries from employees, vendors, and customers
  • Maintain office supplies and support general office organization
  • Perform additional administrative support tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • 0–2 years of experience in an administrative assistant, receptionist, or clerical role
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Strong data entry, organizational, and time‑management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service–focused with a professional demeanor
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a deadline‑driven environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform continuous computer and keyboard use
