Position Overview
The University of Alaska Human Resources department is looking for a part‑time office assistant to perform general office duties. The position is located on the UAF campus and offers 15–25 hours per week, split into 2–4 days, with Mondays and Fridays required.
Duties include greeting visitors, processing mail, digitizing personnel files, processing employment verifications, and handling vendor checks.
Strong customer service skills and attention to detail are required.
Minimum QualificationsPrior work in an office setting preferred.
Position Details- Temporary staff position—non‑exempt, Grade 75.
- 30+ hours per week may yield certain benefits; 15–25 hours per week does not.
- Pay schedule follows the UA temporary staff salary schedule.
