Front Office Coordinator

Location:

Fairbanks, AK
Pay: $18–$24/hour DOE

Schedule:

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

TDL Staffing is seeking a professional, customer‑focused Front Office Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for a busy Alaska Native organization in Fairbanks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and providing exceptional customer service in a welcoming, mission‑driven environment.

As the face of the organization, you'll assist employees, visitors, beneficiaries, and community members while supporting daily front office operations. Success in this role requires professionalism, outstanding customer service, respect for people from diverse backgrounds, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while creating a welcoming experience for everyone you serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet employees, visitors, beneficiaries, and community members, directing them to the appropriate department or resource
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls using a multi‑line phone system
  • Provide general information and take accurate messages when needed
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional reception area
  • Perform clerical duties including filing, copying, scanning, sorting, and distributing documents
  • Assist with scheduling, event support, and administrative projects as assigned
  • Process facility forms and related documentation
  • Receive and route inquiries, concerns, and visitor requests to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist with meeting room setup, preparation, and cleanup as needed
  • Provide support for organizational events and special projects
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with multi‑line phone systems or switchboards preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Experience providing professional customer service in a diverse community setting preferred
  • Background screening is a part of the hiring process for this position
  • Must support a drug‑free work environment
