Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
This position is responsible for supervising two Office Assistant 2's in the Operations Department. They are responsible in assisting the public and clerical support for "D" Detachment including but not limited to answering all non-emergency incoming business lines, greeting the public, extensive report processing to include criminal history requests and processing Sex Offender Registration forms. This office is the first point of contact with the general public and requires exceptional customer service abilities and organizational and management skills.

THE WORKING CONDITIONS YOU CAN EXPECT:
This position is located in the Fairbanks AST Headquarter's building, at 1979 Peger Road. A successful candidate will need to be comfortable working with a diverse population. The in-person public contact occurs between a glass barrier. The work environment consists of a high-performance team and as such we seek someone with solid judgement, objective reasoning, excellent organization skills and someone who enjoys challenges.

Core function of this position:
- Works as the Operations Supervisor. The Operations Unit is responsible for all customer service functions and clerical support for the detachment.
