JOB SUMMARY

The Heavy Equipment Partsman position is responsible for ensuring materials are received, processed, and distributed to meet material requirements in support of the Heavy Equipment and Light-Duty repair facilities. This position coordinates logistical and documentation processes to meet equipment repair schedules. Position performs all material support job functions within the Heavy / Light-Duty repair facilities and also pertaining to the warehouse to include support as needed within the materials group and surplus responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Assist with determining material needs with Mechanics, Equipment Shop, and Material Coordinator.

Check in and review purchase orders, receipts, invoices, and payments for accuracy.

Ensure supplier and related documentation are processed according to Company standards.

Monitor material warehousing and ensure items are stored according to Company and customer requirements.

Support other positions within Inventory, Receiving, and Issuing as needed within the Materials group.

Working knowledge of heavy equipment as well as light duty vehicles and equipment is preferred.

Will maintain Shop inventory levels and perform issuing and receiving as well as physical counts.

Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

A valid (U.S issued) Driver’s License is required.

A North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification is required.

The ability to work 84 hours a week on a 2x2 or 3x3 rotation is required.

At least three (3) years’ experience in Materials, Logistics, or Equipment / Light-Duty parts is required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.

Previous experience in using fleet management software is required.

Previous experience in using inventory management software is required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Four (4) or more years of experience working in Materials, Logistics, or Equipment / Light-Duty parts in a Construction or Industrial setting, the Petrochemical or Oil and Gas industry, on the North Slope, and/or in other Arctic environment is preferred.
