Quality Control Manager Location – Fairbanks, AK

- Create and manage project submittal registers
- Assist with creating project specific Quality Control Plan’s
- Collection & Submission of all necessary submittals
- Coordination & lead Preparatory Phase meetings
- Conduct Initial Phase & Follow UP Phase Meetings as required
- Assure safety requirement are strictly adhered to
- Prepare and submit daily Quality Control reports as required by contract
- Five years’ experience as quality control manager on industrial or commercial projects. Federal project experience preferred
- Experience on projects exceeding $5 million
- Experience working with the Corps of Engineers (USACE) and other DOD Agencies
- Current USACE or NAVFAC Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM) certification
- OSHA 30 Certification (can be obtained after employment)
- Current favorable National Agency Check with inquiry (NACI), in accordance with AR 380-67
- The individual must be familiar with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910 and 29 CFR 1926 and have experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance.
- Conduct Initial Phase & Follow UP Phase Meetings as required
- Assure safety requirements are strictly adhered to
- Prepare and submit daily Quality Control reports as required by contract
- Must have working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Outlook
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with military personnel, management and colleagues,
- Experience using Resident Management System
- This position will have supervisory responsibilities.
- This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation “safety-sensitive” functions.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This project also requires exposure to element of temperature extremes.
