Overview
RAHI is a unique six‑week college prep program at UAF that helps rural and Alaska Native students explore higher education, earn college credits, and participate in enriching activities. As a Tutor Counselor, you will shape the student experience through tutoring, mentoring, leading recreational events, and building a supportive community.
ResponsibilitiesGuide assigned family group of 6‑10 students through the program, provide academic support, lead recreational events, mentor students, communicate with families, maintain program records, live on campus, work up to 60 hrs per week, be available on‑call, and have little free time during the program.
Minimum Qualifications- High School graduate or equivalent training and experience
- Minimum of 30 university credits completed
- Driver’s license and 3 years of clean driving record with no felony
- 21 or older
Location:
Troth Yeddha' campus, Fairbanks, AK. Full‑time, non‑credit temporary adjunct faculty position. Salary: $8,000.00 for the full duration 05/17/2026 to 07/11/2026.
