This fast‑paced position assists the Manager of UAF Onboarding and Engagement with welcoming new hires to UAF, developing onboarding and engagement activities such as campus tours, employee welcome and recognition events, content development, creating visual materials (presentations, website content, multimedia, printed publications), and implementing communication plans.

To thrive in this role, you must enjoy working with people and possess basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, database contacts management), excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to coordinate equipment, building space, or programs, and (preferred) design, print and production of collateral material.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Enrollment requirement: be enrolled in the university system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester; or for employment between semesters, have successfully completed six or more UA credit hours in the preceding semester and demonstrate plans to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester
• Have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA

This is a part‑time temporary student position up to 20 hours per week while school is in session. Additional hours may be available during summer and winter breaks. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour, negotiable based on experience.
