Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate‑level courses in Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
  • Develop a unique, engaging curriculum aligned with current industry and academic standards.
  • Deliver instruction in face‑to‑face, online, or hybrid formats, as appropriate.
  • Commit to teaching excellence and continuous professional development.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Demonstrated expertise in arctic security, cyber security, homeland security, homeland defense, and emergency management.
  • Professional certification preferred.
  • Teaching experience or professional experience in a related field.
Position Details
  • Part‑time adjunct faculty role for the 2025‑2026 Academic Year.
  • Salary: $1,755.33 per credit hour (most courses are 3 credit hours, total $5,266 per course).

  • Canceled or modified by the University at any time.
  • Union represented:
    United Academic – Adjuncts, AAUP‑AFT/AFL‑CIO.
