Overview
Join the Graduate School & Interdisciplinary Studies team and play a key role in supporting graduate students from their initial inquiry to graduation at UAF! We are seeking a motivated student worker to assist with our dynamic office operations. In this role, you will work closely with our dedicated team to navigate students through UAF’s graduate policies, provide front-line customer service, and assist with processing forms.
Responsibilities- Provide front-line customer service and assist with processing forms.
- Navigate students through UAF’s graduate policies and support their progress from inquiry to graduation.
- Collaborate with a diverse team and maintain confidentiality while managing multiple tasks with patience and empathy.
- Applicants must be enrolled as a UAF student taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a newly enrolled student.
This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) student position. Hourly rate starts at $16.52
, with the potential for a higher rate commensurate with experience.
