Overview
The Office of Advising is looking for Enrollment Coaches! Enrollment Coaches assist new students during the onboarding process and collaborate with Academic Advisors, Registrar, Office of Admissions, and Financial Aid as students matriculate y deliver exceptional customer service to new students, aiming to enhance their onboarding experience and improve matriculation rates, ultimately contributing to student success and ongoing enrollment growth at UAF.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, multicultural sensitivity, and effective conflict resolution abilities.
- Be able to work collaboratively within a diverse team and communicate effectively with individuals from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong critical thinking abilities.
- Be capable of initiating, prioritizing, and completing multiple tasks with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with staff, faculty, and students while exhibiting a warm and professional demeanor and a positive customer service approach.
- Be proficient in Apple, Microsoft Office, and Google applications, with the ability to learn new software quickly, including Nanook Navigator, Salesforce, and Banner.
- Be enrolled in at least 6 UA credits.
- Have at least a 2.0 GPA.
- Completed at least one semester at UAF.
This position is located on the University of Alaska campus in Fairbanks. This is a part-time, student assistant position, starting rate of $16.20/hr.

Clery Reporting and Reports
Each university within the University of Alaska system publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report which contains information regarding campus safety and security including topics such as: campus law enforcement authority; crime reporting policies; campus alerts (Timely Warnings and Emergency Notifications); fire safety policies and procedures; programs to prevent dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking; the procedures the University will follow when one of these crimes is reported;
and other matters of importance related to security on campus. The report also contains information about crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in On-Campus Student Housing Facilities; in Noncampus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University or a recognized student organization; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus.
